“A beginner’s guide to Brazil” – Lonely Planet publication

Lonely Planet writer Kevin Raub published a delightful article describing the “ins and outs” of Brazil, and useful information for travelers going to Brazil.

From the beginning of the article already, he attempts to describe what Brazil is – in the form of a question:

“What do you get if you combine cinematic landscapes, kaleidoscopic culture, head-spinning biodiversity and a constant rhythm of carefree joie de vivre? Welcome to Brazil!”

He goes on to describe the different geographic realities in the country.  He also shares some tips about traveling around, the language situation, costs, and health and safety issues.

A great read!  Click here to access the entire article.
